3 RTS
2 Murchie
1 Nikorima (despite all the bad 5th tackle options, he also created most of our attack)

Yeah, Nikorima looked dangerous every time he ran. I'd say 50% of his kicks were great. There were just a few that absolutely stunk.

Not missing Green though

3 RTS - mainly for his tremendous game, but also for hearing me screaming CAPTAINS CHALLENGE!! thru the TV set.
2 Murchie - added some teeth back to our bench. Also apparently copped the first penalty in league history for throwing a boot away.
1 Hiku - can even set up a plodder like Pompey for a try and critical tackle on Hopoate when Dogs looked likely to score.

HM. Nikorima. Think he tweaked something trying to convert RTS try, which limited our kicking options. Looked injured the last 10mins

3 Nikorima
2 Murchie
1 RTS

HM Jazz, Turner, Perham, Hiku

Turner went good. .nice step, bit of pace and solid in contact on defence. Couple of errors but very solid debut

3 Murchie. Looks the goods and surely will see more game time now.
2 Kodi. Seems to be relishing this senior half role
1 = Jazz for being everywhere but without the errors ... and Turner who had a great debut and could have had a brace of tries on another night.

HM Still haven't given points to Jennings but hes close every week and Hayze. Oh... and Blair who really brought energy.

RTS and Tohu are sound every week, the best players in the team by far
gonna give points to other guys who played outta their skins tonight
3 Murchie, dangerous/flair
2 Nikorima, dangerous/flair
1 Turner, dangerous/flair, now have 3 decent half options without having wasted half the salary cap getting an Aussie

Pretty sure that penalty was created after Maloney threw away Jared Hayne's boot back in 2010, when Maloney was with us

I think tonight marked a big improvement from RTS.

Harris was what he always is- perhaps not quite as effective as he has been this year. His 2020 bar is really high

Murchie with his best game in our colours. Maybe the edge backrower we’re looking for??Roger with one of his better recent games and just worked, worked, worked like he always does. Kodi led team around the field as a good 7 should and running thru a couple of nice holes

3: RTS over 300m
2: Murchie, out jumping 2 back to score.
1: Nikorima.

Hon Men Jazz as no errors or penalties, plus most post contact meter of any forward (83 of his 185m).

3- Kodi - Without him we don't win, sparked everything we did well. Did a fair bit averagely (final tackle options, goal kicking was woeful) but also did a lot very well. Getting better and better each week and seems to relish the extra responsibility.
2- Murchie - Massive enthusiasm and skill. Excited about his future
1- Jazz - I rate this bloke so highly. Like a Micheal Luck lite - just brings endless energy and the intangible stuff that teams need. I know he brings some shit sometimes but hopefully over time that stuff will slide out of his game.

Yeah, RTS & Harris went well, as always.
But it was the new guys stepping up that really pleased me.
So:
3. Turner. How many times did he get over the line? Looked class. With a bit of power too.
2. Murchie. Had doubts about him. More happy now.
1. Perham. Some nice touches. Needs more confidence. Will form a good combination with Turner.

I am not as convinced about Paytons sainthood.
Starting Jazz with Blair on the bench is stupid. Their forwards ruled the game till Blair came on.
Yeah, I have criticised Blair. But you need a big body to stop big bodies. Little men just don't cut it.
If you have to bring Jazz on it should be fther 20 min when the big men are tiring.

more to do with Taunoa Brown and Burr imo

I am not sold on Tevaga but he played well yesterday.

Yeah, I think we can all agree that Peyton is light years ahead of Kearney, but unless your name is Tony Kemp that's probably a given... although I am sure cloudsurfer is somewhere raging at this injustice

Not sure the issue was around Jazz or Blair tbh, meth probably right, or more about the Dogs middle being good to start (and just better players than our three) and Marshall-King being good then running our of steam, and then how good our bench was - when Murchie, Egan, Blair and Alvaro came on we really dominated - long time since a Warriors bench added so much...

The Kinghts middle will be a huge test though
