Can we get Ali back on the other side in combo with Taine again? Feel like he was working much better over that side.
Couldn't agree more. Ali is the form centre but he's been moved to accommodate Rocco, who looks really off the pace at the moment in terms of his match fitness. I don't like that part of our side.

3. Ford. Bit of sentiment in that but he was great.
2. Clark. Beast. Beastly. A beast.
1. Egan. He's been incredibly good this year. Clark has been our MVP but I don't think we are where we are without Egan's upswing in form, either.

HMs: Capewell (especially the first 20 mins or so), Metcalf (give the goal kicking to TT, please), CNK (290m), Leka ran hard, most guys were pretty good. No DMs this week, I don't reckon

Contrary to what seems to be the prevailing idea, I actually want Ford to do well. I’m not death riding the guy. I haven’t seen the game (just the highlights) but it seems as if he has played well, cut out errors and backed up well to snag a couple of tries. Good on him. Credit where it’s due.

That maybe the case but it feels like you are overly critical of him at times and focus on him more then others

That’s just subjective. I think others are too lenient on him and give him too many passes. I just call it like I see it, as you would no doubt say that you are too.

Good win
However, I am one of Pompeys biggest fans but 2 weeks in a row now he has stunk it up on the wing. Dropping all the bombs. He needs a stint in NSW cup now

Metcalfe definitely improving, which is positive.

Clark has been a revelation, didn’t anticipate him being this consistently good, and Egan back to his better self really is key, hope his body holds up

I think I saw a comment from Webster along the lines of the halves clicking more. To be fair to him, this is around when he said he saw it happening.

Dude, love your work generally, but to say you don't death ride Ford is delusional. Let's set up a poll "Does Meth Death Ride Ford?" to settle this for a laugh...

lol I’m sure it would be overwhelming in agreement with you.

But hand on heart, I take no pleasure from him underperforming. I do take pleasure from him playing well. When I think he plays well, I’ll be the first to acknowledge it.

BTW- we have been here before. This isn’t the first time he has played well. There’s no reason to think normal transmission won’t resume next week

I thought our kick chase last night was superb.
Webby mentioned it as something that was sub-par in the second half, in his presser. He said the follow up to kicks, which I presume means kick chase unless it means formation following the opposition's first tackle
