Has Elford even been charged for that head high? What a joke if he hasn't.

And the Scott / Prior charges are bullsh*t. The Poore one, yeah ok unlucky he ended up in a dangerous position. No intent but 2 weeks seems about right.

I think 2 weeks is fair for Frank, I can cop that one. But the other two are a f**kin joke in comparison to some of the other incidents that escape charges.

Regardless, it just accentuates the challenge that is presented to us playin the Raiders in Canberra. And I'm content with the end result. I want to see how they respond to this.

The more challenges, the better before the semis.

It's a dangerous throw, its against the rules of the game. The victim was put out of the game and his team down a player for 65 odd minutes. What on earth are you complaining about. Your bloke got off lightly.

Scott cant have that many carry over points. He took the plea last time with the feet first so he could get some time off for surgery!

apparently the offence is worth 125 and then there is loading added for previous offences.

i dunno, i'll wait to see the official report from the judiciary and wait to hear what bennys gonna say about

That'll do me.
Now now, don't sulk.

lol @ spear tackle. You don't know what a spear tackle is. Come back when you're ready to talk some sense.

I saw it very differently:
1) Fairly sure Elford's bloody face had nothing to do with the spear tackle, it was from an accidental knee much earlier in the game. After the earlier incident, he didnt seem himself (he looked drunk), and that would explain the carelessness of his later high tackle.

2) During the 'spear tackle', Poore dropped Elford , as soon as Elford started to turn. He did not drive him, or flop on him, or whatever people are carrying on with, he tried to bridge himself so there was no pressure on Elford as he fell, it was as safe as he could have let him down.

I kind of want our players to fight the charges, I was annoyed that Soward had to plead guilty last week too when he was being pushed over by the throat, it makes the players look dirty, because they know that if they stand up for themselves, they put the club at jeopardy.

LOL! The 'victim'. It's a football game, not an armed robbery you dope.

And your 'victim' also took out a St George player early in the match, leaving us down a player for a while. Or did you miss the dangerous head high? Did you really think he wasn't going to cop a tickle in return?

In the old days they would have made sure he stayed on just to belt him up some more. Your bloke got off lightly.

How about Cooper getting his head knocked off?????? They seem to forget and the refs seem to look away alot don't they?? How about Slater charging at Soward with his elbow to the head???

What a joke this has become, I agree with the Poore decision even though Elford twisted his own body in a dangerous position but Poore was unlucky. It will give him a bit of a rest anyway. The other two charges are a load of crap!!!

Don't know if anybody has thought of this but I would like your ideas on throwing Merrin in and giving him a go? I know its a big game but what are your thoughts?

Merrin or Green will get a bench spot. Bennett has used Green more often this season though. Personally, I would love to see Merrin have another go.

Elford was already stupified, I've never seen a bloke get that beaten up after 10 minutes of a game, everytime he touched the ball he came to grief. He did find time to unload a huge coathanger on Cooper before he ran into Poore.

Big Norm
Any mention of Elford's high shot on Coops? What is the grading?
Elford lost his footing before being tackled by Poore which contributed to him being placed in a dangerous position.
