I saw it very differently:
1) Fairly sure Elford's bloody face had nothing to do with the spear tackle, it was from an accidental knee much earlier in the game. After the earlier incident, he didnt seem himself (he looked drunk), and that would explain the carelessness of his later high tackle.
2) During the 'spear tackle', Poore dropped Elford , as soon as Elford started to turn. He did not drive him, or flop on him, or whatever people are carrying on with, he tried to bridge himself so there was no pressure on Elford as he fell, it was as safe as he could have let him down.
I kind of want our players to fight the charges, I was annoyed that Soward had to plead guilty last week too when he was being pushed over by the throat, it makes the players look dirty, because they know that if they stand up for themselves, they put the club at jeopardy.
