Does anyone else remember the "promise" of bringing back the TAB and the Pool Tables to the leagues club? I can't believe the nerve of these guys making a promise like this then dogging all of us.

Are these empty promises made to get the votes of members or are they really going to change things? I seriously doubt that we will see a TAB at the club anytime soon.

3P if you are serious and want to prove me wrong (which I hope to hell you do) then give us a date when we will see the TAB in the club again - otherwise please have the guts to admit that it was all just a lie to buy votes!!!

I think like most people and myself we would be more worried bout rebuilding our football team and gettin good results rather then som TAB.

MS, I believe there's been some major restructuring in the joint in the past week involving 4 to 5 positions high up in the club...

first things first! get the right people running the joint and then make the cosmetic changes. ;-)

Its been too long without a damn TAB - that was the best thing to come out of them ideas wise. They were so for it during their talks, I remember them saying it was one of the first things they had planned if they got in and we have seen nothing done since the election and thats been a while now too.

Seriously, there was supposedly some deal ready to go regarding the TAB (or an equivalent) before the election was even held. The whole "this doesn't happen overnight" thing is crap - it's a TAB and it can surely be organised within 3 months.

I know why Scorps made this post, too - several people were asking about a TAB at the Leagues today. Let's not forget that this was one of the first things promised, too, and it's one of the simplest to implement.

Yet 3 months on (long enough to establish a TAB or equivalent) there hasn't been one hint of it being brought back.

In terms of the Leagues? Yes, I'm unhappy.

Sure, some of the things will take a while - the Hall of Fame entrance, for example. But a TAB? That's not a 3 month exercise, especially considering it was supposedly ready to go prior to the election.

Not really, 3 months is nothing, it takes time to get in, understand the books, know the staff and the operations etc.

How many board meetings? 3 or 4?

I'll assess them 12 months time and see how they're going.

I think they're doing a fine job - with the highlight being the appointment of Osborne.
