Seriously, Johnson bowls 4 good balls up on the stumps which the batsmen can only defend. And then bowls a bouncer so f**king short it defies belief, to take all the pressure back off the batsmen and back on the bowler, sure enough, next ball, spanked for 4.

No patience. It's really that simple it defies belief. McGrath always used to say he would just pitch on the same tight line and length time and time again because eventually the batsman will crack before he would and he was right and he had success. This mob go looking for "wicket balls" every god damn ball.

It frustrates me. I have coached 16 year olds on the basics of bowling and the importance of consistency and they grasp the concept perfectly.

Test f**king cricketers have no f**king idea on this at all.

How can you expect to build pressure, and bowl consistently when every over you throw in a pointlessly ineffective bouncer which clears the batsmen head quite easily.
