As an aside, when I mention Davey it irritates the fanboys here - but was it not this group that dropped Head in India because those conditions didn't suit him - well, unless they have missed it, Broad has taken the notion of one's bunny to a stratospheric level, Chris Martin could last longer facing him

If there was other options Labs would be someone you'd be looking to drop. His figures away from home are woeful. Take out an average of 167 against the west indies as well and you can see he's not as good a player as stats hype him to be.

To lose 2 wickets to Moen Ali (again) is absolutely diabolical.

Still slightly ahead but it could easily swing to England.

Davey was actually decent enough the first 2 test. Far from great but saw off the new ball at least

The problem with Warner is that he can't win the physchological battle with Broad. He used to be able to bash his way out of a slump but on English pitches with ageing skills he's got no chance.

I can't see him being dropped for the next test though.
