Warney acting like a little, immature kid tonight.

When even one of his best mates from his playing days, Mark Waugh, has had to tell him to put a sock in it as early as the 2nd over and also Howie (another fellow Victorian) has tried to steer clear of Warne's rants, you know there's problems.

Warnie is off chops, seriously.
I could see Warne got offended and paused for a few seconds when Junior said "what's the matter? Have you had a couple of cokes before coming to the ground tonight?". Warne clearly wasn't expecting one of his best mates to portray him like that.

And that's one of the signs of a narcissist: they can dish out the criticism at everyone and anyone, but they feel threatened the moment anyone says something about them, even if it's in a joking manner. In their mind, they are never wrong.

Oh my, don't remind me of that cringeworthy conversation from Day 5 of the 2014 Boxing Day Test Match. Probably one of the lowest moments in Ch9's cricket coverage in the post-Benaud era (I say post-Benaud as although this was a few months before he died, Benaud's last commentary gig for Ch9 was the 2013 New Year's test match).

You can blame Brad "burgers" McNamara (who was executive producer of Ch9's cricket coverage at the time) for allowing such dumbed-down conversations in the commentary box:

https://www.theguardian.com/sport/blog/2015/feb/13/channel-nine-destroying-cricket-legacy

When Warne was a part-time commentator for Ch9 during the 2000/01 (injury) and 2003/04 (drugs suspension) test series, he was actually quite good and just simply called the game as he saw it. But after the old guard disbanded - Tony Greig died in 2012, Benaud bowed out shortly after and Lawry/Chappelli became part-time commentators - the media persona of Warne dramatically changed.

At Ch9, Brayshaw/Slater/Healy/Nicholas/Pietersen/Clarke all kissed up to Warne's arse because it was the typical old-boys' club environment, and he simply hijacked conversations with gay abandon, knowing he could get away with it.
