We still got our tail to save us
Unbelivable we have to rely on the likes of Warne, Lee, Gillespie & Macgrath to save us. Anyways I'm [-o< praying [-o< that Ponting & Clarke can at least bat to tea.

I hope they have some footage of the Kline/Mackay partnership lined up to watch in the sheds during the tea break...

Australia still a good chance of a draw. One session to go. Five wickets in hand and Ricky Ponting is playing solid hand. 91 not out.

I'm really surprised that Vaughan nominated himself as a bowler with a new batsmen at the crease.

After that shocking lbw decision by morgan freeman, Punter must have put the question to him, but they showed bucknor writing some silly little note.

Is what he did enough to be considered dissent, just questioning the umpire!

Unless of course Punter said something rude, but I doubt he would have!

Tis' a shame cos' Martyn is good at that type of 'grinding out' batting!

There's a few grinders left. Its really up to Ponting now.

No matter what he said, it was justified. Shocking decision and if he does get fined, then who cares - money well spent as long as Bucknor knows that he made a howler of a mistake.

I think the aussies have been a little too agressive out there!
They should have just played more defensively!

As soon as the first two wickets went so cheaply they should have just decided on the draw scenario!

As pointed out by Deano it seems Jones played up after an appeal was rejected.

Punter will be the only one punished based on the way these imbeciles operate.

The ICC has stopped fining people of late, they now tend to suspend people. Which would be bad.

They need to stop attacking out there! Clarke looks like he wants a hundred, he keeps charging Giles!

Stop it you fool before you get out!

I think you'll find they'll settle down in the last session.
They couldn't play defensively earlier... they needed to use attack as the best form of defence.
Now that they can see the finish line, you'll see a different approach to the batting.

I'm sure the last thing on Ponting's mind is getting a century.

As I type... well done Ricky on the century.

England will have the new ball soon...

How long do we have to wait before the umpire offers the draw to the teams?
Is it half an hour (ie 5pm BST) before the scheduled close of play? ;-)

Still 31 overs to go dude. England were never going to give up and whilst Clarke was there neither were Australia.

Boycott has to be the most annoying one-eyed commentator!
He absolutely loves putting the boot into the Aussies!!!
At least the others try and maintain a morsel of professionalism, but that silly old bastard just can't help himself! And that friggin' accent drives me up the wall!
At least Tony Greig puts sh*t on him all the time!
Atherton, is the best of the pommy commentators, as far as I'm concerned!
