I remember when the phrase "he's still developing" applied to > 22 year olds.

But it gets applied to 30 year old batsmen these days.

I'm sure I've heard a variation used for Shaun Marsh recently enough and he's the same age as Cameron Smith.

Well to be fair I think you're always developing as a player. And players do play longer these days

But yeah, there's a point where a guy like Marsh is no longer developing and becomes a never-quite-was.

That being said, Shaun Marsh is absolutely in the best six bats in Australia. There are other reasons not to pick him, age and a history of failure chiefly, but he is 100% one of the best bats in Australia. That's the extent of our woes right there.

How Renshaw doesn't get in *this* squad is absolutely beyond me.

He's competing against spastics, not a top three of Hayden, Langer and Ponting.

I don't care how patchy his form has been domestically there is no way Fats is a better test batsman than him. The worst that will happen is we'd get some attempt at a test innings and fail, rather than watching a clumsy T20 moron. There's a good reason why Guptill was trialled in whites and never seen again.

Says a lot when Pat Cummins bowls his back off facing an impossible deficit and follows up with a clinic for his top order. There's no demons here, just a pile of sloggers and Marsh's who can't play the long game.

India on their way to what could be a first ever victory on Australian soil.

He is top 3 imo with only warner and Smith in front of him.

His mind is as fragile as mundines jaw though.

Warnie starts his shift with a good fap on Rockstar Jadeja along with a long sermon about how this is the best team he's ever seen travel on Australian shores.

Rubbish.

India are certainly good and played some great cricket, particularly bowling, but are still highly dependent on Pujara and Kohli.

Warne is avoiding the root of the problem in that this Australian team is absolute garbage.

My answer it chopra on Wade is we're mentally scared from his past efforts. But yeah scary as it is he isn't a bad option.
