I've got no issue with the BBL, it gets kids to cricket which is a good thing. But kids Don't know shit from clay, the quality of play in the big bash is woeful and the international players like Rashid and Buttler stand out like dogs balls against some of the Australian nuffies playing.

But it is those nuffies who are selected for Australia based on what they do in the big bash, which for a batsmen is hit out at everything, a paceman variations in pace and luck and for spinners firing them in at the pads.
Are you saying that having to counter Andrew Tye's 16 different deliveries in the Big Bash doesn't translate to Tests?!

After being white-anted in the media by a state coach, who then becomes the national coach, after his predecessor quits because the player the new coach white-anted the incumbent for cheated.

Lol. So true.

The relentless commentary and media pressure after a few slow innings for Renshaw is in complete contrast to how Pujara has been feted for his steadfastness this tour.

Plastic fantastic and his favourites....

So this would be the same Darcy Short with 2 FC 50's (0 hundreds) and an AVE of 23?

Someone on Twitter send Warne Short's FC stats. Reaction could be comedy gold.

Honestly I don't give a f**k if he's averaging 55 (which he obviously is not)....the dude is 28 and has played only 10 FC games for a reason

I remember when the phrase "he's still developing" applied to > 22 year olds.

But it gets applied to 30 year old batsmen these days.

I'm sure I've heard a variation used for Shaun Marsh recently enough and he's the same age as Cameron Smith.
