How short exactly is too short to be an international quick?

I'll find out.

It's interesting that they'd just assumed these kids wouldn't / couldn't grow taller. It's a sad indictment on the whole set up IMHO. It makes me shudder to think what other lunatic ideas they're selecting on.

At the same day, they had nets. They got points for 'shots'. Hits back over the bowler's head - full points. A kid was cutting and the guy running it said "lovely shots...but they don't get you points". FMD.

Finch, Marshes, Head, Khawaja, Harris got us in this mess, they can do the bowling when India decide against going with the follow on.

Trying to think of short fast bowlers. Malinga? Fidel Edwards?

When the Windies had an attack of Fidel Edwards, Jerome Taylor and Fidel Best it had to be one of the shortest of all time.

Simon Jones was no giant either and look what he managed.

Especially when they are only 16. I went to school with kids that were midgets at 16, average height when we left school at 18 and now when I run into them they are tall as shit.

Australia's collapse here could potentially save the MCG. You can't say that the pitch has prevented a result here.

What's the follow on?

There are stories of that kid who wasn't good enough to make junior rep teams but still have represented their country.

But those stories may be nonexistent soon enough.

Not sure India have enough runs here, I think they declared based on time, being end of day 2, rather than runs.

Normally at the end of day 2 a team would be approaching 600, but 220 on day one and again on day 2 is a pretty slow run rate.

Unless the pitch really deteriorates quickly we really should be able to bat as long as India did but we would probabaly have a higher run rate.

Time to wear their bowlers down now.
Funniest post of the year, if it wasn't so serious I'd wonder if Haynetrain had hacked your account
