The Daily Telegraph’s Ben Horne reported that Langer’s move is a clear sign that Warner is at the centre of Langer’s World Cup plans for next year.

Smith and Warner have previously practiced with NSW teammates, but Warner’s session against Hazlewood and Cummins is reportedly the first time he has been involved back with Aussie teammates.

Warner earlier in the day made 81 off 49 balls during a powerful innings for Randwick-Petersham in a Sydney Grade Cricket Twenty20.

Meanwhile, Mitchell Starc is also expected to test out Warner and former captain Steve Smith in the SCG nets this week, while India play their only tour game at the same venue.

But Robert Craddock knows.....

Fair enough- but the fact is that he was a divisive figure in the team less than a year ago and a net session doesn't really change that all that much.

I really thought they would have sent Australia out again and had it all finished after lunch tomorrow.

I've seen enough.
Quicks are flat. Save Cummins. We will need to win in Sydney to save the series loss.

Goat, Head and Finch to bowl the innings out.

Edit....Marsh can bowl all arvo too.

With two days to go, they're going for the back breaker. They'll declare a little after tea with our bowlers half dead for Sydney.
