India lost 6/36 since the fall of Dravid, this after losing 4/27 before the big Dravid-Kholi partnership started yesterday.

Australia have just a Test against India and the New Zealand Cricket side gets brought up. Bit of a sad lot aren't ya.

If I am an Indian supporter, I don't hate Harbhajan Singh recall. Singh and Muralitharan have struggled over here though he is a fighter, gets under the skin of the Australians. A definite cat amongst the pigeons. and offers SOMETHING. 90 wickets at 29.95 vs Australia (most of that success in India - only 9 wickets in Australia at 73.22!) is worth a try.

Yeah why are people talking NZ, we've just had our best series performance since 06/07.

Too easy in the end, great work by Hilf there. Everyone bowled well, Harris unfortunate to only get two wickets for the match but a good game over all. Probably Lyon for Starc in Adelaide.

Hopefully rest of the batting lineup plays well in Adeliade. Shaun Marsh needs runs. Suspect it'll end up being Watson in for him assuming Punter and Huss dont call it a day.

Dravid showed alot of fight today but he's struggling, Laxman has long been quality, not as consistent as the others but would score runs when it mattered but he isnt looking great at present. Those two will both be gone pretty soon I suspect.

Well batted Kohli, played well and has gradually improved as the series has gone on.

Watson is no chance of coming in so can't see him replacing Marsh for Adelaide. The only changes will be to the bowlers. We may choose to rest Siddle or Hilfy so we can play Starc and Lyon. Harris should be right for Adelaide.

The BCCI will be pissed, they will lose millions losing days of test cricket

Oh well, lets hope we bat first in Adelaide and post 1000 runs

This is the main reason why flat pitches started to erode Indian cricket grounds over the last 7 years. I remember reading that the BCCI gets paid on a per daily basis. So, ideally, they want test matches to go the full 5 days in order to maximise their revenue. That 4th test in the 2004 series at Mumbai, that only went for just over 2 days in duration (since nearly all of the 1st day was washed out), was the cataylst that led to the multitude of flat pitches in a country that had always been renowned for being a spinner's paradise

Harbhajan is injured I am told.

Either way, ignoring his poor record in Australia, my reasoning for not hating his selection is India need someone who isn't going to shirk fighting this Australian team. They need a fiery type who will take us head on. Any ideas?

Dhoni will and should be taken to task as a leader. This team are mentally beaten and he isn't leading this team.
