New drinking game, have a shot or a scull of beer every time the commentators mentioned the words "pink ball"

How un-Dougie, he hung it on a good line and length over and over and got the reward. Well bowled.

I'd like to see Boult come back now. Burns played that with hard hands. Again, a part of the modern day batting style.

It's complacency. If you look at the NZ innings a lot of guys got set, but then got out with overly pushy shots. Even though he was blocking, it certainly wasn't the old style of dropping it at your feet type stroke with a dead bat and no follow through.

I would send a night watchmen in ahead of Darsh. He's a heavy front foot pusher outer if ever there was one. How much of a bunny was he to Zaheer.

The ball only moved wildly for a few overs but it's doing enough, as it did all day, that it will pick up any bat that isn't focused. There's nothing wrong with that. It's test cricket of old. Today has been much more of a proper contest that everyone has been asking for. If batsmen can't handle it, it just shows how easy they have it 90 per cent of the time.

Good job by the bowlers to roll the kiwis given their masterful batting techniques lol.

Shame about Starc, hopefully nothing serious but it didn't seem great.
