With Warner throwing his wicket away recklessly lately I think there would be some merit in giving him a test carrying the drinks. He's supposed to be the VC and needs to start acting like it.

Warne is so full of it talking about needing to nudge singles and pick up the scoring rate. Yes, in an ideal world. Does he understand where Australian cricket is at at the moment? He doesn't have the temperament to be a top order batsmen for mine.

People are obsessed with this "but he can blast teams off the park".

First and foremost these two batsmen have to respect the world class bowling they are experiencing. With respect eventually comes the ability to conquer or overcome. That is when they can score at a quicker pace.

He has been seriously ordinary since he lost his bad attitude - the sledging and all that. I guess when he had a kid or when Hughes died he smartened up but lost a bit of his secret ingredient.
