Warner is more suited to 5 or 6, at Test level surely?

There is an argument for it.

Ive been harping on about it all week but australias real problem has been the middle order. like yeah we have collapsed a few times but there is an expectation that once the top 4 are out the whole side is out.

Like if we look at england their top order (well cook and root) have been outstanding which has allowed their 5,6,7 to score a lot of runs. bairstow is leading the world in runs scored in 2016.

The rot started imo with voges, marsh and nevill as harsh as that is.

Na Warner opens.

Slips too.

Build around it.

Maybe the odd over, no outfield anymore.

It is a simple game

What the selectors have done with Khawaja is the perfect example of what's wrong with Aust cricket. He's 29, should be a senior player with 70 tests. Instead still trying to establish his place because of fickle selectors

He's got 7 more years to carve out a very good career. He would make a better vice captain than OLED.

50. 50 more at least to go please.

Warner at 5. Solves 2 problems. He's not going anywhere, but he doesn't have a Test match openers mindset. Meanwhile, you've got Voges stinking it up at 5.

Warner to 5 would be a great move....you just got to figure out who your 2 openers are.
