Yes and Hughes got dropped. So you further prove my point. Watsons batting isn't keeping him in the team. It's his bowling.Furthermore, Hughes has averaged 26 in his last 8 tests.
Shows how f**king much you know
And Young was nippier with the ball :lol:Hastings sucks...Shaun Young MKII except Shaun Young was a better bowler LOL
And Young was nippier with the ball
Hastings, an underdone Starc and Johnson.
f**k I could be the best bowler in the test side if I was picked.
He wasn't selected for the last test because simply put, if he couldn't bowl then he couldn't field either, given the nature of his injury.
Are you utterly f**king stupid?
McGrath has said that same thing about 50 times so far in commentary this seriesI remember over a decade ago now being told by my coach, that if you can string 3 maidens overs together, you're a chance of getting a wicket.
No you idiot.Yes and Hughes got dropped. So you further prove my point. Watsons batting isn't keeping him in the team. It's his bowling.
In my view, it's easy to look like a good bowler when surrounded by hack bowlers.Fact is that his bowling is far superior to his batting. If he didn't bowl there would be serious questions asked by now about his place in the side.
Of course, he can bat but his stats don't make for spectacular reading. I have no doubt he is a far better batsman than his stats suggest, but at the end of the day you have to go out there and get the job done.
So if you ask me right now, I would say that Watto is quite clearly a bowling all-rounder.
