How do explain the large amount of wickets that fell on the first 2 days then? Do u think days 4/5 will get better? Which WACA test would u say is the ideal WACA pitch?
1.Greener pitch,different weather,initial bowling enthusiasm.
2.Will probably get worse and start breaking up reversing the batsmans advantage.
3.Any test except this one lol.

Good on the WACA fans, turning up and paying good $ to watch this sh*t. Must be hoping to watch Punter bat

f**k off Barry Richards.

Discussing possible trophy names and Jim Maxwell said it'd probably have to be someone from post-1992 South Africa. Richards starts talking about how it's a shame the players missed out on that era "Alot of people suffered in that era and the cricketers more than most"

Yeah, I've always thought the cricketers were the real victims of the apartheid era you stupid yarpie merkin.

Viewer's verdict: Will Amla finish with 1,2, or 3 hundy? Getting served some nice meat pies again.

Does this team have any realistic chance of getting the highest successful run chase ever?

Warner and Clarke would have to combine for some superhuman partnership.

I can't see SA declaring until tomorrow lunch when they could be 600 ahead. They are not going to give us a sniff of victory as they realistically only need to draw this game to stay number 1.

All these runs on a pitch that according to some was a minefield

yep, they will absolutely grind us into the dirt. massive defeat looming here. 3 series losses at home in 4 years after we went 16 years without losing one here

New ball taken and its Hastings? Fair enough Starc bowls with the newy but why not Mitchell Johnson? He's shit but he's got pace which Hastings hasn't and I'm sure he could do something with it, it's not like we're not bleeding runs already?

Why would Johnson not wanna bowl new ball.

Me no comprehendè?

They'll declare after an hour tomorrow morning, probably close to 650-700, then probably roll us over before stumps.

If they bat until lunch tomorrow they won't be 600 ahead. 40 odd overs left today. Say 25 overs first session tomorrow. 476 lead now with 65 overs left ... Hmmm ... 700-800 lead is more like it. That is more than enough you would think.

They should have close to 650 lead at stumps tonight. If they don't declare beforehand.

I think this match has shown that Starc is not a test quality bowler. He can get wickets but lacks the consistency you want in a test bowler.
