After being robbed of a result the last 4 sessions have been quite the advertisement for test cricket. The only positive I can take from it is the way the middle/lower order South African batters dug in.

We lost only 26 wickets across the series, and took 52 of theirs.... There was no need to pick Renshaw. Carey should have batted 6 and someone who can turn the ball should have played instead of Agar, and that's regardless of what the weather was going to do... Deadset, the most entertaining spin bowling of the match came from Head and Marnus....
