You cant tell me that the hawkeye can tell when the ball pitches outside leg by 2mm yet has to defer to the umpire when only 49% of the ball is hitting the stump.

The other thing that pisses me off is that two identical balls could have different outcomes on appeal depending on what the umpire says.

I'm not convinced that hawkeye can adequately project swing and if less than 50% is projected to be hitting, there is no guarantee that it would dislodge the bail if it did hit. I'm not agreeing, I'm just saying the position is not indefensible

Notch has got 3/33 and has bowled like bunniesmong. He has economical figures because he bowls so wide and short or wide and full you'd need a canoe paddle to reach him.

The LBW rule is difficult enough without all this umps call stuff. I also think the DRS is flawed by overturning decisions based on a lack of hot spot. Some fine edges simply won't show because not enough ball has grazed the bat.

I am all for India's position tbh. Let the umpire make the call and deal with it.
