Smith already doubled Failed's score.
He'll do fine in England. England suits his style much more than India. Don't see England bowling about 60 overs of spin a day at Lords.FMD he is ordinary against spin.
How can he possibly play Test Cricket long term now? Each time he's come back, team's have worked him out far too easily and essentially rendered him useless.
England will probably be his absolute last chance, assuming he's still in contention by then.

Hughes' struggles in India have little relevance to how well he'd do in England.
He's not hopeless against quicks anymore. I don't think he has even got out to quicks in this series. And he did fine against Sri Lanka. And he did great in County cricket last season. So HAH is hopeless against slow bowlers & fast bowlers..
The Poms will be licking their lips at the prospect of bowling to a player with so many glaring faults..

He averaged about 50 and led his county team in runs last season. I think that has more indication of his abilities in England than anything else. You're a clown. He averaged 46 against a popgun SL attack on flat decks at home which is by no means extraordinary. The English seamers will be praying that he gets picked.

England would be one of the best places in the world for his strengths. India one of the worst.
He can't be dropped from the Ashes because of his struggles in India. You couldn't get furher from an Ashes tour if you tried in terms of conditions.
This post shows a lack of understanding of test cricket.
I don't see you criticising Cowan. He is well and truly in and is scoring at a strikerate near enough to single digits these last few overs. Considering Cowan isn't finding it easy here maybe that should excuse Hughes in his very first few overs?
This test is 4 days long. It can't be won here but it can be lost. And if Hughes throws his wicket away like you seem to want him to it will only contribute to a loss.

If he was English there's a good chance he'd have been picked for England based on last seasons county form. So he can definitely make it into our much shitter top order.
