I agree. Don't want to see him on seaming decks. He works just fine in India though.

Smith has been good. Probably a tad too aggressive if anything, tending to alternate between slogging and stonewalling.

We either take smith or take an untested out of form rookie.

Our depth in batting is woeful. At least smith averages in the 40's in FC cricket.

Happy for Steve smith to play the rest of this series. He's probably earnt that already. He's near doubled Hughes series run tally in one hit. He does look somewhat more comfortable against the spinners than some of our players have too.
