you've been deathriding anyone who is a threat to Hughes staying in the side for ages, and AG has said we are sick of your wankfest over the bloke. Thats the thing your weird obsession is getting everyone hating on the poor bugger.
I hadn't said a bad word about Cowan since he got that big score. He really impressed me. Again, like I said before, whether he got 0 or 100 today he would never have been dropped for the next test ahead of Hughes so I don't see why I'm being accused of deathriding him when whatever he did has nothing to do with Hughes.

One thing would keep Hughes in the team, runs. Not what anyone else did or didn't do today.

Hughes a hit and hope 50, and now he may have ran out Lyon.

We need him to go on and get a big ton.

Hughes just hit a spinner for 2 around the corner off his pads.

Probably the weakest shot in his arsenal against the type of bowling he is weakest against.

If he can do that competently he just might be capable of doing something special here.

You're creepy

Why didn't they send Starc in?

Really good knock from Hughes this is how he should have played all tour. Just free up and hit them as they come instead of standing petrified at the crease. Would be good for his confidence if he got a ton.

Where has this come from? If you didn't know better you would call for ASADA.

This literally could have saved his Test career

What a crazy scorecard. Hughes has 53, noone else has more than 8. .

If we bat till Tea we should get a draw.

Hopefully Clarke can do a bit tomorrow.

In all seriousness I think he realised going to the crease and just being scared shitless wouldn't achieve anything. He certainly couldn't do any worse by playing with freedom.

If the first few shots come off all of a sudden the fielders start getting pushed back, you're not crowded around the bat, singles are easier to get etc etc.

The bloke is a serious talent, always has been, it's just been a matter of using that talent with confidence.

Go Phil Hughes... clearly I rushed to judgement, and this streaky innings should weigh much more heavily than the repated failures...

Michael Clarke's days at #3 over? Jeez he's hard to like if you're not Australian....

Once the spinners get a decent go today Hughes will be out fairly quicky. He won't play next test.
They had a decent go yesterday. They got 0 wickets.

Hughes has already earned his place in the 4th test. You really still think they're still going to pick your bff Khawaja ahead of him now?

Well they should. Your bareback buddy Hughes has failed in 5 innings out of 6. I've seen players dropped for better performances. Compounded with the fact Cowan has failed in 3 of the 6 innings and Warner like wise, I'm sure one of the 3 will have a "well deserved rest".

Mo will be dropped for Watson. Patto in for either Lyon or Doherty. There won't be any other changes.

Watson won't be back and if he is he won't be replacing an all rounder considering he won't be bowling. Hughes needs at least a 100 or he should be gone IMO.
