Seriously. This lower order of Pakistan is on the take. They either have no respect whatsoever for their cap or they are getting bankrolled.

Well done Black Caps. For such a talented team, Pakistan truly have a bunch of epic muppets.

Williamson, what a player.

Might end up in the Stacey Jones bracket of awesomeness..

Yeah that good.

Meanwhile we have bogmarsh.

Fantastic series win. Keeps us ahead of Australia in the rankings for now, I think

Kane Williamson man of the match.

Yasir Shah man of the series- hard to argue with that, but you'd have to say it's Kane series. Led the Black Caps to do something they haven't done in 49 years. Turned the game around with the bat on Day 4 of a Test that (at that point) they were fighting to save.

Nicholls, Somerville and Watling did their part, big time. I won't be speculating on Nicholls place in the squad again for a while.

We still have issues with our openers.

Signature test for Williamson, special win and a huge performance in a key test away from home in very difficult conditions, can't ask for more than that

Thats some win from NZ, especially after the 2nd test. You find a couple of openers and you will be a hard side to beat.

Yeah, that has to be the priority of the summer.

Who are they though?

I've put forward Hamish Rutherford and Dean Brownlie. There's also the chance of Waitling moving up the order. Latham is a good ODI opener, but not up to it at Test level- better suited to batting 5. But then Nicholls just came out and scored a good ton, so he's pretty secure I'd say. As is Latham, because he's seen as a future leader.

Don't ask me mate, us Aussies aren't any better when he comes to the batting stakes.
