if this test ends in a draw, we will have kept our unbeaten record of not losing a test series in South Africa since the Saffers were admitted back to international cricket in the early 90s

No wonder nobody turns up to watch South Africa play. You'd fair dinkum die of boredom. Both batsmen average mid 50's and they won't play a shot on this road. Heartless wankers.

Bit harsh in his first series lads? Bit of parochial stuff methinks. Doolan has had a good series - not brilliant. Playing the number one team in the world and all that! Anyway, back to the game!

He's got a mid 30's shield average for a reason, he's a f**king dud.

Honestly it feels like a loss if these f**kers bat out tomorrow, nothing more infuriating than not being able to close out a match.

A day of total domination for Australia, firstly Warner bitch slapping the Saffa's around.

Secondly Derplander protecting his record and staying away from the bowling crease.

If that was not all Smith failing in his last test, and lastly picking up the very classy Amla just before stumps.

We get AB early this game could be over by lunch, if not it could be a tough hard slog till the new ball.

Should be a blockathon to end all blockathons tomorrow.

seems to be their modus operandi... amazing how good de Villiers is at it, given in reality he's such a flowing relatively free scoring player...

but a day with 4 recognised batsmen gone, will take a special effort

I cant see A B batting out all day on this 5th day pitch, he is good but the pitch is playing up a bit.

Philander 1-158 this match, gee he's come down to earth and not only that Smith seems to have lost confidence in him as he held him back for ages.

Hard to see any other result than an Aussie win because I just think we are bowling too well for them to bat the day out.

Revisionist history and people going out of their way just to pick the opposite view to mine.

Unlike seemingly everybody else, I actually remember what 2012 and 2013 were like up until tea on day 1 of the Brisbane test. I remember the reputations Cook, Trott, KP and co had at that point. I remember the reputations Johnson, Haddin and even Warner had at that point.

Brisbane is not comparable at all to this test. We were awful before Brisbane. Now we're the most intimidating team in the world.

Now we are the best. We should be looking to curbstomp every one that we come up against now. Back then it was different.

You're a f**king idiot. We set them 561 to win in Brisbane. How much more did we need to get before we declared?

I still am not certain of a win.

de Villiers is still there. du Plessis still to come.

If those two bat for the lions share of tomorrow with solid contributions from Abbott/Duminy/Philander they could bat out the day. The pitch isn't doing much.

I hope we don't have another Adelaide test.
