From the reports and bits on TV I've seen this morning, this incident was not just one player taking it upon himself to do the dirty deed yet a calculated, planned method to cheat and gain advantage from it. For Smith to say the coaching staff were not involved doesn't correlate to the video of Lehmann who looked like a theif being caught red handed and not a coach who was horribly surprised and angered at what had just transpired.

There is something seriously wrong with the culture in the Australian cricket team, for a long time now they have carried on appallingly with poor sportsmanship when things don’t go their way,it’s as if they have a win at all cost, no matter at what expense attitude .Sure the opposition are not faultless either in this area, but it’s a bit rich to complain about their behaviour when our team are known repeat offenders for being bullies displaying poor sportsmanship.A bit of banter between teams is fine, but in this series it certainly has overstepped the mark.
While I follow the team,I find it hard to like them and cringe at their antics,it’s actually unbelievable that these players as a team thought ball tampering was a good avenue to take and that they would actually get away with it.

Cowardly by Lehmann not fronting up to the presser. Cowardly by Smith making Bancroft explain the situation, he should have come out in front of it and done some "leader" shit. Grow a pair between the both of you lads

The way that Lehmann has thrown these guys under the bus is disgusting. I've never liked him, and now I f**king hate him.

At the very least, this should be the end of Smith and Warner as skipper and VC. I have absolutely no respect whatsoever for cheaters, and the fact that this was an orchestrated plan by the 'leadership group' and they've roped in the youngest and most inexperienced member of the side is absolutely unacceptable.

I'd have Paine as skipper as he's the most experienced player who seems uninvolved for the fourth test then we work out what's what from there.

I would also dump anyone who signed off on this plan from the side for the fourth test. If that includes Starc, Lyon and Haze so be it. Someone should have said no.

Let those countries handle it in their own way. We should be imposing our own sanctions on top the ICC ruling. We shouldn't tolerate it.

Yep, so they do nothing while we ban them for 50000000000000000000000000000 years.

Maybe time for Chris Cairns or Lou Vincent?
but good, pretty sure Cairns lives over your way now, and like Warnie his ego is so big and lack of shame so absolute, I am sure he'll gladly give pearls of wisdom on anything you want comment on
