I still think it's a joke and a blight on the game that he made physical contact and got off on appeal of the decision, the fact that they appealed speaks volumes too
Joke that he got off

The appeal was predictable and every country would have tried it

It would be good if these wanker score updaters on cricinfo could at least pretend to be balanced... would be a nice change. You would practically feel the tears in their typing during the Ashes now SA are on top the smugness has returned

I wouldn't say SA are on top, they're scoring slowly which is understandable but if we go bang bang.. we're right in the box seat

Series-wise I'd say they definitely have the edge (at the moment)...they know how brittle our batting is, have just had the #1 ranked quick cleared to play us, coming off 11 wickets in the past test....our only quick who seems capable of running through a side is coming off a woeful one wicket match...our two best batsman haven't performed. It can turn quickly as we know but SA would be pretty happy with the way things are at the minute.

Only thing keeping us in the game is SA's lack of runs. Problem is ABDV vs a tiring attack has bloodbath written all over it.

Really going to need guys like Bancroft and Khawaja to repay the selectors faith with some big runs.

Nice 50 from Elgar. A little lucky to have survived Hazlewoods last over.
Really frustrating innings for Australia.

Lyon should have taken that one. Getting Elgar would have been nice.
Our fielding has declined horribly.

ABDV makes batting look easy.
