You get the feeling this match is shaping up as Kallis and Steyn v India.

Anything around the 200 mark will be difficult to face against a fired up Dale Steyn. Kallis is the key to get that lead around that mark.

Lol @ Sreesanth having a cry about the crowd. Harden the f**k up.

That stat table, that they brought up in commentary, about Kallis, Tendulkar and Ponting was interesting. Bascially at the 145 tests mark, Kallis has a higher batting average as well as more 50s and 100s than the other two did.

He's in some strife Kallis but lunch is approaching and so maybe a needle to his ribs. He needs to get somewhere between 70 and 100 if SA are to get enough runs to make it a challenge to India.

I think the match is quite interestingly poised right now. So long as South African can post a target of 200+ (which at this stage I definitely think they can). The pitch continues to deteriorate, and if Steyn and Morkel show some of what they have shown this series, they can more than trouble these Indian batsmen - this has been a great test series so far and it deserves a fiery competitive finish. These are the top two test nations in the world

If jacques could bowl, then id say it would heavily favour the proteas imo..

Never thought I'd support Saffas in anything, but when i have money on them!!!

need 250 odd IMO, but Steyn and Morkel could just rip through the indians

 I feel so privileged having got to witness that. What a legend - centuries in both innings whilst wounded, some credit to the guys batting with him, but wow - just wow

Great job by the South African tail in sticking with Kallis. The century partnership between Boucher and Kallis is what's put SA in such a great position. At the time it looked as though they may get rolled for around 160-170. Steyn did a handy job with the bat as well.

Tsotsobe out on the final ball of the day which leads India with a target of 340 on day 5.

I would have loved to have seen Smith declare after the lead got past 300 (and given SA about 10 overs or so to bowl at India) but I can understand him wanting to try and bat India out of the game.

How good has this test been? I've watched nearly every session of it and it's been entertaining throughout.

Oh and a nice job by Harbhajan in picking up 7 wickets in the innings. Moving ever closer to 400 test wickets.

Has anyone noticed how the cameramen in this test have just been relentlessly working the babes in the crowd? Nice way of mixing it up. Saffers have some good stock.

South African cameramen have been doing that for a few years now, its great!

As for the game, only chance India have of winning it is a Sehwag ton really. If he gets out cheaply they will try and survive for a Draw.
