Tendulkar appeared to be out caught behind 2nd ball, but the lack of a real confident appeal, particularly from Steyn cost South Africa.

quite a funny sequence of play, which started with Tendulkar getting dropped on 94
I wish I could post footage of it, but I haven't got any recorded, cricinfo's description
Harris to Tendulkar, OUT, 82.4 kph, Laxman is run out Tendulkar is dropped and Laxman is out! Here is what happened: Tendulkar went down the track and smashed it hard in the air to right of Harris who just about managed to get his right hand to it. Laxman was outside his crease and the ball fell on the stumps at his end! Run out! Harris is bleeding. Blood on the pitch but he has run out, albeit accidentally, Laxman. Big moment this.

Oh and Saffas took the new ball at their first opportunity

Kallis can bat with one arm, one leg and one eye on a green top and still be streets ahead of anyone else

Hope he bats again in the 2nd dig, the world loves Jacques batting

Tendulkar has his 51st test ton, and some people on here think he's overated

He proved just how overrated he is coming in at 2-28 putting on 176 with Gambhir and was one of only 3 players to make a significant score and India finish with a slender lead but I guess we can look forward to Laxman's token 80 in the second innings which would be the reason for an Indian win

Lol @ Sreesanth having a cry about the crowd. Harden the f**k up.

That stat table, that they brought up in commentary, about Kallis, Tendulkar and Ponting was interesting. Bascially at the 145 tests mark, Kallis has a higher batting average as well as more 50s and 100s than the other two did.

Petersen gone 2nd over of the day to yet another sharp spinning off break out of the rough by Singh.

Kallis the new man in. Should be a great battle in this cracking Test Match!
