It will be competitive. Our bowling attack is actually pretty good now, good enough to compete anyway. Batsmen still inconsistent but at home on what will more then likely pretty flatish decks hopefully they step up. Of course Steyn missing the series to injury would be useful...

hopefully nothing like that happens. Even though it would present greater opportunity for others. But wouldn't you love to see the greatness of Dale Steyn bowling in your country?

Firstly, a congratulations is in order for Mahela Jayawardene on 10,000 runs. I don't rate him as highly as others, but 10,000 test runs is a massive achievement.

Secondly, lol@SA. They always seem to lose at least 1 test per series to crap opposition at home and this latest loss is to a sri lankan side that aren't even getting paid atm.

Not particulary. I'd rather see Nicky Boje come out of retirement.

Sri Lanka have won the toss and will bowl first.

I have already announced the SAfrican side.
Dilhara Fernando is ruled out with injury, and Dhammika Prasad replaces him. Chandimal is fit and he will play.
The other change is that Lahiru Thirimanne replaces opener Tharanga Paranavitana.

Petersen didn't really do anything to get dropped in the first place, Rudolph just earned a spot in the team, and dropping the captain is unthinkable.
don't know what Kallis is doing out there today, but hopefully he gets his head out of his bum soon. I love Kallis, but there has been some silliness coming out of him.

I don't love Prince or Smith (although I don't dislike Smith) and I've hit a cold patch with Boucher. I love the rest. Morkel is a ranga and he's my favourite. Pollock is a super ranga and he used to be my favourite. This is just a coincidence though, I don't like cricketers based on their hair colours

Love is in fact conditional.

If you don't believe me, fine.....,

Just fine.

I love how Kallis has taken my advice and used my words to help him play great cricket

of course love is always conditional, even if you don't know why, there are always reasons you love others, those reasons can change and be built on, but there are always reasons

And there is Petersen's half century, superb return so far
