I have SAfrica first if we beat New Zealand 3-0. But then England play Sri Lanka, which should be an easy ride back to number one, but one loss to them would lose them a lot of points

England won't lose to Pakistan 3-0 though and they play West Indies as well after Sri Lanka. They hardly stop playing cricket, their current break is their longest in the whole FTP as it currently stands and they don't get another one over 2 months until 2017.

YES! Prince has been dropped for this test. This means Alviro Peterson should definitely replace him, the actual line up has not been announced yet though, but Alviro has said he would be happy to bat in any position from when to 11, because he is an opener and with Rudolph remaining in the squad he will probably keep his opening spot. Philander has also been declared fit and he will most likely replace de Lange.

looks like you've been listened to. Confirmation that Petersen will indeed open the batting with Smith and Rudolph will bat at 6.

Bowlers have not been confirmed, but it should be Philander in for de Lange.

I announced that yesterday. Beating Kiwis 3-0 was just a part my fastest route to number one scenario (I do think it is highly probable though), I don't think Pakis will beat England 3-0, maybe 2-1.

My ideal test series would be us rolling you for 250-300 in every innings but Kallis getting a hundred in every innings also. We should just produce placid low decks as well.

I would love to see a competitive series, I would love to see New Zealand competing with everyone. I used to really like the New Zealand side, back in the Stephen Fleming days, but I lost interest when the side became far too temperamental to invest any hope in (it may have always been that way and it just took me a while to realise).
