Im fine with the ANZAC test here and not the 4 nations.

Im sick of the excuses. Sydneysiders get out there and support the World Champions.

:? He didn't even play in 2010. England lost by 20 but I wouldn't really call it a belting. I remember Australia scoring off forward passes too.

GI and Slater destroyed England at Etihad in 2008 though.

well yeah...we all know how australia's losses get erradicated from memory and never happened lol

Only because of our numerous victories that we have.

And just an FYI, I remember that game in 06 well. I was there. I took my ex on our first "date" that night.

just priced up flights for england fans....

manchester > brisbane > melbourne > dunedin > wellington > manchester

£5,357...or $9575........then theres hotels on top of that....

compare that to when i went to the 2008RLWC when i flew

manchester > brisbane > townsille > melbourne > sydney > brisbane > manchester

which came in at under £1300

cya next year for the GB tour :lol:

You can do much better than that. Get a round the world ticket and supplement it with local low cost carrier flights.

Manchester -> Brisbane (RTW)
Brisbane - > Melbourne (Easyjet)
Melbourne -> Sydney (Easyjet)
Sydney - > Wellington (RTW)
-> Dunedin (?)
-> Wellington (?)
Wellington -> Manchester (RTW)

Or something like that.

The double header at Brisbane counts as 2x50 thousand fans.
50 thousand attend the first game, then 50 thousand attend the second game. ??

Again i will say, we should crack close to 200 maybe even 220 thousand fans.

No it doesn't...
Double headers have always been counted as one attendance. Was for the 2010 Four Nations and for both of last year's double headers at Millenium and Wembley.
Even so, how many honestly do you think will be there just for England v Fiji/Samoa? 5 or 10 thousand? Can't just count everyone who walks in twice, that's just dumb. If we do that then the Holden Cup has a crowd average the size of the NRL's.

got bored after 3 mins

Good for you. Must not like league much then.

The scoreline doesnt suggest it was but I think it was 26-4 at halftime. Australia pretty much ran riot out wide.

Then scored a try just after halftime, which shouldnt have been a try. Sheens said they shouldve put 50 on them.

I was at that game in 2008, it was a great night despite the thrashing, we gave it to those poor Pommys who felt confident when reminded of the 2006 win at Sydney.

I remember Inglis scored a try of an England short kick off.

It was 26-8. England were leading 8-6 early. I know at least 2 of Australia's tries were dodgy as well.

The difference in the England team from then and now is quite astounding. Personnel, playing style, defense and inatensity have all improved 100% on 2008.

I quite like what they have done with the fixtures for he 4N but my only gripe is the lack of a home game for the qualifying team. European qualifera get home games, png have done as well in the pat so why can't Fiji or Samoa.
