What kind of League loving man would want to fundamentally change the sport by outlawing the shoulder charge? It's about as blasphemous as suggesting we get rid of 6 sets, or move up to 15 men.

NZ commentators are shit. But they're no where near as bad or as actually geniused as Eddie and Stevo.

With the exception of Brian Carney, they are dreadfully out of touch with the game. They might have known it once upon a time, but it has left them behind.

I think the whole Sky League team need a complete overhaul. They get such limited exposure through the media to promote Rugby League over here. If you're going to convince someone to start watching our sport, two dinosaurs like them aren't the guys.

Brian Carney should be captain, Shaun "Pringles" McCrae should be in there somewhere, and someone else newly retired in touch with the game.

Steveo and Eddie, it's been great fellas, but time to hang up the headphones.

Eddie and Stevo are hilarious

Last week they couldnt stop whinging about a decision that didnt go their way, then this week they are all like "It might have been forward but the ref has decided it wasnt so thats proof that it wasnt". Hypocrites

Anyway, it was a great performance by England and played with great intensity the whole 80min. They'll need to tidy up some of their passing for the final but all in all I think they will push the Aussies.

Isaac Luke is the games biggest merkin. I want to see him KO'd the next time he tries any more of that crap on the field. Absolutely no need for that crap in our great game, none at all

What's with the 'sheila' remarks....you're aware...that nobody has used that term regularly for about 20 years?

Let's see what you've got, England, it's going to be an even more sweeter victory to shut down the poms.

Great result for International League! I got up at 5am after 2hrs sleep...Felt like CRAP!!!! but it was worth it! :) Really enjoyed the match and....have to admit I won't be disappointed if England get up next week will be a huge shot in the arm for the game over there (obviously).

Yeah, be good for the WC if England win, but id rather see Lockyer go out as a winner.

I'm very confident we will take care of England, but id feel better with Slater or Stewart there. No offence to Boyd, but he doesn't have the strike power of the other 2.

Jack Reed has been massive for England, and heighington has been solid without being spectacular. They have added a certain hardness to the team, while players such as tomkins and roby have been spectacular. They have always had hard forwards, but they are playing a lot smarter this year and finally have some outside backs up to standard!

I was also impressed with carvell, he is a solid looking unit!

No offence mate but us Kiwis have been copping Australians and their (and i say their and not yours) attitude for years. Let us have our 5 minutes of pay back wont ya :D

That's a fair point!

I can only imagine the Poms if they win next week haha!

Well worth getting up for. Very disappointed with the Kiwis again, why are they such terrible tourists? Hopefully they can get out of that mindset for the 2013 WC.

i feel the one weakness england have is Yeaman/briscoe. In defence they seem t get caught out of position a lot when the ball is moved quickly in their direction. So far they have managed to recover a lot of the time, but a sharp attacking unit could shred them. Otherwise, they look very solid across the park and with Ellis hopefully returning they will only be stronger against the Kangaroo's.

Tomkins is one of the few players in the game with great elusiveness, to be able to make the defence stand off and hesitate is a massive advantage. He, Slater, Dugan and Marshall have outstanding footwork and are great players to watch.

few things I took out of the game this morning.

Cecchin was waaaaay out of his depth without a 2nd ref out there. Allowed far too much shit in the play the ball AND allowed shit play the balls (mostly to England). He needed to stamp his authority early because it was frustrating as a neutral seeing NZ f**k ass around in the tackle far too long from the get go. And also kept a far too skinny 10ms, the sides were not kept far enough apart to allow some decent flowing football to be played. Oh and a big lol at the person in here who called him 'Ashley Klein'..........

Commentators, wow........ simply wow. The hypocritical comments considering what happened last week, the complete bias for England, the lack of knowledge of the game/rules........ I though Rabs was bad but Stevo and Eddie are f**king atrocious, seriously is that the best team sky sports can come up with??? I wanted to mute them but the amount of lol's I was getting I just couldn't do it.

NZ, Foran and Benji looked disinterested and lacked any authority over the game. They all looked far more worried about niggle and rough house tactics than actually playing football. If they harnessed their energies into a more productive manner I have no doubts they could have won that game.

England, Tompkins is a gun. Their attacking kicking game needs to improve because far too many of the last tackle cross field bombs were too shallow and needed to land more towards the goal line, some of the kicks weren't really all that pressured so there was no excuse.

It is awesome for the game that England won today, hopefully Elland Rd is packed to the rafters and we see an amazing game next week.

The lol's do fade away, you're lucky you only have to listen to it every now and then.
They are hopeless, apart from Carney.

Yeah I thought Carney is actually pretty well spoken and a decent enough commentator to be able to hold his own, they need to f**k off the other muppets because they are simply not up to calling the game and showing a somewhat lack of bias and telling the viewers how it is and not how they (the commentators) want it.
