Liability? Moltzen played well until injured. Certainly his performances at fullback this year were better than Tedesco's.

again i would agree with this. however i would like to see tedesco play some more in nsw cup to mature a bit ( fixes up his dropped balls and tackling ability). despite this i still think tedesco is our future (if he can remove the unforced errors from his game).

any harm in playing meany in the fullback role ?

Tedesco missed quite a few tackles on Friday night you would expect a first grade standard fullback to make. He has a lot of improving to do to live up to the hype.

In reply to your comment here, Tim . . . . Benji has played like a dipshit lately. His poor decisions have cost the team big time. You would expect more from a senior player, golden boot winner, captain of his country, etc, etc.
I wish he'd improve and live up to his MASSIVE hype. :D

Do you honestly think Marshall would have made any difference to the scoreline had he started? Did you watch Marshall play against the Sharks and the Bulldogs?

Can't help but laugh at the idiots who think Benji starting would have made much difference to the game.

Given Souths were strolling through our edge defence, I think you're having yourselves on if you believe Benji's defence would have stopped any of it.

Benchy should have been thrilled to be on the bench, it saved him from the steam roller for about 20 odd minutes.

He actually had a spring in his step when he came on the field and I have not seen that in yonks,be interesting if he can keep it up for more than a week

Has anyone heard about team morale? A good head kicking but don't bench key players. Blair had to be first. We have too many kids in the team and senior players are not leading. You may as well get flogged with senior players hurting the kids does nothing for us.

I think the point is that the coach should probably start with all of the key players on the field, ie the best team. Benji wouldn't have stood a chance but he is still the best 5/8 tiges have, if you can't replace him with something better why do it?

It was a case of Benji learning the hard way that he isn't the boss.

Good move by Potter, long overdue.

Some people need to hear things loud and clear before they get the message. Potter sent Benji a clear message benching him, hopefully Benji heard it.

I heard that it was an attitude adjustment rather than concerns over form too. I reckon Benji's got the message, he was different last night, dependable rather than sensational. I got great respect for Benji's ability really hope for his own good he hits a rich vein of form, secure's a few extra bucks and stays a tige for good. Hes been pretty loyal, a couple of years ago he could have left on good coin but stuck by us, the club should do the same for him in my opinion. If the club had of done the same with a couple of others we wouldn't be at the bottom of the table today.

Keeping in mind also that the club has been loyal to Bunji on several knee and shoulder related occasions.....

Its a two way street and to be honest it comes down to business.

Is this man worth, on a consistent basis to be sucking up a massive percentage of salary cap? Personally I don't think so. I think he has the rest of the year to see if he can fit in the new structures and if not, we are better off with someone who can.

Marshall is unlikely to be the only Tigers player released at the end of the season as Joel Reddy, Matt Utai, Matt Groat and Matthew Bell are likely to be playing their final games for the joint-venture club. There is also uncertainty over whether Tim Moltzen will remain, while Lote Tuqiri's future will be determined by how he comes back from a long-term arm injury.

With the guys named above, I can understand Reddy & Utai but I was under the impression that Groat was coming along nicely in the NSW Cup and there was some long term plans there? Maybe Potter and Fletcher have good eyes for talent?

Bell surprises me because I think he offers the team plenty if he was played in 1 position and I see that as a back rower whilst using Blair up front.

Moltzen !!! that contradics what I said above in regards to Potter having good eyes for talent. There must be no uncertainty.

Tuqiri !!! So they can move Simona to centre and drop Ayshford for the rest of the year?

Bell will turn 33 next season not sure a 33 yr old bench player being let go after a season of injuries is that surprising. Utai s time has passed . Moltzens injury history and form means we hopefully can let him step away quietly.

Groat is a prop , at this stage for next year we already have - woods, Galloway, Blair, big Ava , jack Buchannan, James gavet, Martin Taupau so that is 7 in front of him which probably indicates he doesn't fit potters plans.

Reddy is a surprise -he has been playing well this year, offers versatility and experience and potter has talked about him being a good influence all year.

Happy to lose them all.

Id keep Lote on incentives but starts season in reserves with a lot of kids in front of him. Could be value if injuries hit and on training paddock.

I think we should repay all of Lote's time on the field with one last send off.

80 minutes at prop against Souths.
