Manly - without question.

They set the benchmark on many fronts:
  • Drunken behaviour
  • Sexual assaults
  • Sponsor assaults
  • Underperformance - 0 from 4
  • Management turmoil
  • Ugliness - Watmough, Snake, Peter Peters, CEO
Many - still the one.

I think it's funny how the only people who claim that noone has set the bench mark are all rooters fans.

Apart from the Dragons I would say I've been impressed by the bunnies and the Tits. I also think the Broncos are right up there too.

LOL, the Dogs?

They've only had two legitimate wins, both against bottom 3 sides.

They would've lost to the Panthers(another top side...) before they played a 14th man, and they lost to a Titans side that had Prince pull out at the last minute.

Sure they're not the rabble they were last year, but they're not one of the best sides running around.

The Titans have been pretty good so far, a great win over the Knights come-from-behind and taking advantage of an underperforming Storm team without Scott Prince. I thought they could have played a little better against the Dragons, they didn't really take their A game with them.

I would be a bit wary of tipping them to make the final, having seen their fades from a similar position the last two years.

Would've lost to Penrith "before pulling a 14th man" You can't let go can you...

Face it mate, the 'Dogs mean business this year.

Dodge, you were behind until you put that 14th man on and scored through numbers. I don't see how you can claim that as a legitimate win. Even if you want to call it one, it was hardly convincing against the wooden-spoon favourites.

The Dogs are a much better side this year, and they will be very close to the 8. But they are not anywhere near the benchmark at the moment.

How is it funny? There is no clear cut 'benchmark' at this stage of the season. If there was there would be no need for a poll or debate, it would just be "... are the clear bench mark, can they be stopped?". Besides, every year there are a few teams who get off to good starts in the first 5 or so round, but fade later in the season and vice versa, so there is no point at all in having a 'bench mark' until each team has really shown their hand.

Id go titans beating the storm at melbourne without princey is a great achievement. They also beat an in-form Bulldogs side the week before also without Princey. I think they are the benchmark atm.

Scored through the numbers  Oh god. The play had already progressed to that side of the field well before Ryan took his place in the line. You're acting as if it was a deliberate act to deceive the NRL, wake up to yourself.

I don't see how I am. I just said they put a 14th player on. I never commented on whether or not it was intentional, of course it wasn't.

You seem to think they gained a distinct advantage off the act, I beg to differ.
