If we lose this game Bancroft will go, not saying he's the reason for the loss by any stretch but he hasn't made a contribution all series

Well I suppose it wouldn't be the first time someone has been picked for test cricket base on T20 form. Lol.
Burns was in good shield form and has carried that through. Still hope Bancroft can get a good half century at least.
The first batsman I can think of that went though a similar graduation was Warner back in 2009. But he might have went via the ODI path. I have no idea about his Shield form at that time.

Bancroft is going to be made to look very, very silly in South Africa by Steyn and co.

I'm not sure I even consider Steyn their main bowler anymore, Rabada is a f**king weapon, I think they have the best attack in world cricket

From memory did well in Shield but better for Aust A, really earned and forced his way into the test side this way I think

Poms have bowled much better on this deck than the shit we dished up.

It's still not doing anything for them, but it goes to show what the right line and length can create even on a rubbish track.
