Also, off on a tangent but if I read another story of someone suggesting that 4-day Test matches are a good idea I'm going to hunt them down and deliver some Sweet Chin Music followed by a 5 Star Frog Splash.

Are so called experts trying to finish Test cricket off with these ideas?

The only good idea I've heard recently was Punter's idea (I think) to let the touring captain choose whether to bat or bowl which would force the local authorities and curator to deliver some spice in the wicket.

4 day tests are really only a way to get minnow nations playing more test cricket though, because no one will agree to have Zimbabwe tour when a weakend Jaarpie side beats them in 800 deliveries and they've booked a ground for 5 days. They're a great idea when they involve minnows like Zimbabwe, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, England, or Australia....

If a dull commentator (Chappelli) commentates on a dull match (this match), will the cricket universe implode on itself?

Wish England were the Sydney sixers could put them in with 20 overs to go and they would be all out

There's about 67 people there who aren't part of the Barmy Army...."sporting capital of Australia"

If these two can get the lead to 80 odd, I can see Smith letting Warner off the leash, & have a small crack at winning.

Well that is ridiculous, cricket is soft if you can't play through this weather.
Can't blame Smith for going off though.

Imagibe being an England player going off for this rain?!

It looks better and brighter out there than it ever seems to look at Headingley.

I reckon on the last day they should play whatever time is lost rain hail or shine. It's sprinkling and they are going off. Cricket is fun in the rain
