I said it in another thread. Where has the quality batting gone? Any pitch other than a road. Batsmen struggle to last even a session. I blame the 20/20 rubbish. Time for batting coaches from 19's to test

Certainly looks the case in Aust... Ponting's struggling a little, aside from him Hussey is the only one that looks decent...

Seriously, if you don't have better players than Hughes and Smith you're in for a long period of struggling

And the bowlers - I just see nothing in Hilfenhaus that suggests he's a good test bowler, we all know about Johnson.... Harris looks okay, and Siddle, well, dunno... and your spinners are best not mentioned

Let's be honest. This performance is unacceptable. I'm on holidays on the Gold Coast but its pouring rain so I don't really feel like going surfing or swimming, so I thought I'd watch some cricket but after seeing them collapse to a record low score and again look impatent with ball in hand, I've switched off!

That was about as bad day as you could have had, 4 quicks and Watson on this deck lol. FMD the selectors have NFI. Anderson and Tremmlett bowled brilliantly though.
