We're not a big county so it's a trade off kinda thing, we'll lose a Cricket series to Bangladesh and beat you in the 4 nations final instead!:)

But back to the test match, England should declare after an hour tomorrow, and then huge amounts of pressure comes on Hughes, Ponting, Clarke. Two of them at least have to make a good score.

Not sure will look to declare at all

Bat all morning session and throw the bat after lunch, prob get around a 500 run lead. Then there is half the test match left or around 2.5 days to bowl us out. Swann on the 5th day will skittle us, if not on the 4th day :(

didnt see any of the game today thought johnson may have improved when i heard he got a few wickets but just saw the highlights on fox and those were some typical johnson wickets.

at least hes consistent. maybe we should just play him one test a year at the WACA.

also was discussing this with a mate today and think ive heard it on here as well. but does anyone else think we struggle against the taller bowlers because we dont have any in our team so the boys dont get to face in the nets??

think we definitely need some variation. siddle hilfy and harris all too simailar with their pace and bounce

What do New Zealand and Australia have in common? Nothing, only New Zealand lost a series to Bangladesh.

cricket's just a pasttime over here... like league - oh wait, we beat you at that too eh... maybe like soccer, oh wait, unbeaten at the world cup... maybe netball... oh wait, we beat you at that too...

As someone said above, don't worry you still have Aussie Rules

Speaking of Aussie Rules, the limp treatment of Ponting is a disgrace.... obviously should have been suspended... Siddle too...

Does anyone else think that maybe Punter not getting suspended has something to do with the fact that Sydney will probably be his final Test?

They should've thrown the book at Ponting and Siddle.

Disgraceful behaviour.

I agree that the leniency was prolly due to SCG being his last test.

I cannot help but think how important this day is to Australian Cricket for seasons to come.

Serrender meekly -> doom. Wholesale changes and total loss of the awe that AB created.

Battle bravely -> hope and maintain some respect and awe that others nations have for Australian cricket.

disgraceful behaviour by the aussie team, id be embarrassed to be australian

we'd be embarrassed if you were too

Punter a bit lighter in the pocket this morning, 40% of his match fee.

He's been very apologetic on Fox this morning

How many edges have to not carry before someone tells Watson and the rest of the slips move forward?

These idiots seem to think we're bowling 150k+ lightning bolts

Where is the coach in all this???? I reckon i heard at least 100 times on the commentary Watson was far to deep. And here we are this morning and same old same old. Even Worse Neilsen was a Keeper

Spot on Twizzle, from the bits and pieces I've watched Haddin as been taking most deliveries at knee height at best.

its up to the keeper to step up and the slips generally follow

Problem is as the commentary have been talking about Watson is also standing very deep compared to haddin, so clearly Watson isn't checking his depth against him.

They even showed haddin taking his steps forward as the bowler ran in while the slips stood still
