That's two 'Umpires Calls' that have gone in Ponting's favour now.

Both correct decisions given how close they were but he is riding his luck.

This reverse swing is close to claiming a wicket i feel...

Bad luck for Harris with the serious ankle injury... selectors will probably pick a specialist spinner for Sydney and hopefully a specialist batsman at #6 as well.

I can see a flashy, career prolonging (not that I ever thought he's in serious danger of being dropped) 60 or 70 from Clarke today or tomorrow. Ultimately futile because it won't be enough to save Australia, but will make Clarke look good.

Another umpires call in their favour.

Great umpiring it has to be said given they all would have only clipped the stumps. But surely one has to go the other way soon...

Stand up you bloody numpties!

That should have been a regulation catch for Prior.

Classic nick off a steepling fast bowler and there's no way that should have fallen short. As good as a dropped catch.

Have another slip!

Tremlett is bowling like Curtly AMbrose on roids and Australia are still about 20'000 runs behind but only two slips?!

Ponting passes 100 for the series. Quite a landmark. Severely helped by his 51 no in the dead 4th innings of the first test.

Congrats Punter.

Strauss has ALWAYS been defensive though, never has captained another way. That said I find it unbelievable that you are 330 runs in front and don't have 3 or 4 slips and a bat pad to every bowler with the ball reversing!

Watson is a gun.

There was never a single there. He BBQed Phil Hughes. As Gavin Dilly would say "This is test cricket not a one day match!"

Hughes would have made it, IF he went straight away. I hate these singles being taken though, why take a risk.
