To Locky,

Your boyfriend Sunshine is a f**kin' trackhead! There was no single there. He burned Phil Hughes.

Probably realised that Hughes would have got himself out anyway. Hughes should have been backing up!

Watson should be dropped for that selfish call.
Last thing we needed was a run out and we can't have selfish players in this team. And Watson is one of the most selfish players in the history of sport.

Congrats locky - that was brilliant

Speaking of brilliant - Healy, Chappell and Slater are something pretty special

Funnily enough, even though his behaviour yesterday was a disgrace - I hope Ponting gets some runs today - he's not anywhere near past it imo, and he's looked in better formn than half your top order

Watson has lost us the ashes drop his selfish ass

 dunno, but the performances of Bollimger, Hilfenhaus, Clarke, Hughes, Ponting, Smith, and Doherty might have more to do with not winning the Ashes

If Watson had of been run out after going to the third umpire he'd probably still call for a review. Unfortunately the guy for all his talent is very selfish. He better make sure his form stays up because once Ponting retires Watson will no longer have his guardian there to protect him.

How many of those guys can claim to have cost there batting partner their wicket in a match? and he has done it twice ffs

Today he screwed Hughes - but Katich was all Katich's fault imo

But, can't blame Watson for this series

Just like Katich in Adelaide??

Watson has lost us the ashes drop his selfish ass

Errr - you lost the ashes over a year ago. Watson just hasn't helped your cause to retain them. In saying that - isn't he second to Hussey in the batting stats for Aus? ;)

I only saw the reverse angle once, but that shot from behind certainly looked like an inside edge onto the pad before going on to Prior with that big shout from Anderson's bowling. Maybe a life for Ricky?

Globalisation has had many impacts. But now I realise something.

If you replace the words "warne" with "kumble", "mcgrath" with "srinath", "gilchrist" with "dohni", "hayden" with "sehwag" and "tendulkar" with "ponting" then Australian cricket fans sounds exactly the same as Indian fans.

Drop the openers. Move the order around. Drop the coach. Drop the selectors. Drop the captain. The opposition got lucky. ITS ALL X's FAULT WE LOST. The umpire sucks. X WAS THE EBST IN THE WORLD.

If we just swap X for Y we will be unstoppable. Z is the silver bullet for this side...

2 wrongs don't make a right... Watson's decision to run was wrong and Hughes' decision not to call out 'NO!' and send him back was also wrong.

There was never a single there. He BBQed Phil Hughes. As Gavin Dilly would say "This is test cricket not a one day match!"

MCG is a lound ground, and when Watson doesnt look at his partner when charging down the wicket it may not have made a difference. Remember Dean Jones once discussing how he was run out on the MCG when Boony called Go instead of Yes, and Jones thought he'd said No - couldnt hear a call could only see mouth movement.
