No Hughes would have been out earlier, awful form and an awful choice from the selectors.

Lol at Ponting

And how good is watson's technique? The bloke gets out LBW constantly, clearly a massive problem with his defence.

If the selectors are fair dinkum ponting has one last test before forced retirement.

How come England can bring their net bowlers in and they are spot on right from the word go - Tremlett in Perth and Bresnan here, but Australian bowlers like Bollinger and Johnson come in and bowl like sh*t first game in (in Johnson's case he has been sh*t 2 out of 3 games)?

Troy Cooley and Tim Neilson, take a good hard look at yourselves.

Well it is up to these two now, they are the only ones left capable of big big scores.

Watson is not an opener.

Shut the f**k up Locky you utter, utter tithead. I dont think Hughes is in form but he does have alot of ability. And today was comfortably the most solid he has looked before being run out needlessly by Watson. You have no more opinions to give, because you simply dribble sh*t.

Sad watching Punter at the moment, the shadow of what was the best batsmen in the world.

Hughes is NOT that good, he is always fishing outside off and playing ridiculous shots like the first innings in this test and in the WACA test. Watson has deficiencies but not as much as Hughes does. The bloke has a poor technique that has not been fixed despite being dropped.

its his front foot thats the problem, not in this case where he left it, but he gets his front foot too far to the off, in line with the ball so his bat has to come around his front pad and he is virtually hitting across the line of the ball.

He apparently spent some time with Greg Chappell to fix it.

Its a major technical flaw for an opening batsman to have.

The biggest issue for the Aussie bowlers IMO is why they've never been able to consistently reverse swing the ball.

Siddle got it to go abit. But that's it. Whereas all the England bowlers are getting it to boomerang.

The same happened in England as well the last two tours there.

Hughes was looking really good today way better than Watson who should have been out at least 5 times before he was given. And don't forget Watson was given two lives in the first innings before getting out for 5.

Then the selfish wanker Watson ran Hughes out. Probably scared his precious opener role would be in doubt if Hughes scored a massive century - and he was on his way.

The reason this team is faltering is because of crap coaching, crap captaining, awful selectors and selfish wankers like Watson who only give a sh*t about themselves and not the teams.

Watson is part of the problem and I would drop him outright. He is a cancer to this team.

A lot of hard work. Tremlett, Bresnan and Shahzad were out on the Adelaide Oval practicising as soon as the 2nd Test finished. They also played in First Class fixtures. Johnson for example was not made to play for WA in the time he was out of the team

What an absolutely sensational bowling performance. Perhaps the best ive ever seen form an England side in a Test match collectively.
