Now that Australia is in the tail, it wouldn't do them any harm to try and have a bit of a tonk to try and soften the ball up, instead of this niggly little forward pushes to a swinging ball

As I said, when we were 6-down after Clarke got out, it wouldn't have hurt the tail to have had a bit of a go and play scoring shots, rather than these stupid forward pushes to a swinging ball on a seaming pitch that more often than not get edges going to the slips. In other words, harden up guys and swing the willow.

Since then, Johnson and Starc got out to the same, identical delivery playing the defensive push. Nevill played all over his delivery and his forward push got nowhere near the line of the ball.
