Well, the end is nigh. Have to wait another couple of years before we give Pomgolia a thumping on our roads and all will be forgiven

What a thrashing.

I'm still in disbelief.

I underestimated how awful Australian batsmen are to a man in English conditions these days.

You know what's sad?

The death of the close series - both teams have had horrific tours away from home.

Yep, fairly predictable now. Not surprising we flogged them at Lords given the conditions.

barely into the third day... hard to put into words how inept these last two performances have been...

surely careers must end

not the fairytale he's after - but he loves being the headline, and he is again

Hopefully it doesn't divert attention from how inept he and his team have been - England have been good... nothing much more imo

Clarke and Rogers are retiring

(you would imagine) Sunshine and Haddin have played their last test

That's 4 careers gone

Voges and SMarsh are inches away from it as well id imagine

And so what happened to England last series (lost Trott, Swann, Prior, Pietersen) has happened to us.

I think most people are staggered that S Marsh has had a test career - he'll catch Chris Martin for ducks if he plays too many more

f**k Shane Warne, good lord he's a merkin

Credit to Alastair Cook. He's copped plenty of sh*t since the last series especially from plastic Warne and critics will say that it's been all Bayliss but he's stuck to his guns and has regained the ashes for his side.
