Am I mistaken in thinking that even the Victorians don't like Brayshaw?

People who have actually done things in their lives dont like Brayshaw

A non cricketer for Western Australia (didnt even get a game at first class level!), lays claims that he played 100 tests and 300 odis for Australia

A club president for a token AFL club

Has done jackshit for all I care

Really???? Just when you thought his credibilty couldn't get any lower in here.

What more do you expect? After all, he is a Souffs fan who thinks that HAH can lead the Australian side:lol:

Anyways, I do concur with the person who mentioned about the Madden brothers just 'getting in on the act' just for their own financial gain. I have little respect for people like Greg Norman, Jim Courier etc. who know their glory years are behind them, and only come to Australia to milk us for the $$$ etc.

And on topic of nuffies, come on Henriques! Let's see if he can do something to his burgeoning average of 6.67:lol: Sounds like Shaun Marsh in last year's test series vs India

Well if Clarke hasn't wasted the review on an absolute plumb decision we'd be ok.

The captains and teams tryin to use the DRS to get away with a sneaky one as opposed to keeping it to save their side from a howler decision are to blame for this, not the umpires

Why cant third umpires check a few quick reviews while the players given out is walking and if its conclusive that he isn't out, tell the field umpire he isn't and the decision is wrong and have the batsman walk back. I personally wouldn't have walked, I'd take the fine and say you review that mate. If the Sri Lanka's complain I'd tell them remember 1995 when you guys walked off the field, now stfu. Didn't Andrew Symonds get out like that once and the opposing captain call him back? Pretty sure it was against SL.

I think the problem with DRS is that the players aren't always 100% and use it as a tactic. Clarke would have also felt if he got his overturned he and Warner could have made a mockery of Sri Lanka. Tactics should never come into it. It should be left to the umps like NRL...geez even our method is better and that isn't saying much.

thanks god we have a review system thats gets rid of the howlers

And yet the BCCI is holding back the rest of the world with their bloody-mindedness and stupidity. The irony for them is that the 2008 SCG test - where they copped a lot of howlers - was the perfect endorsement for the DRS and yet, despite all the bitching and complaining from them about Steve Bucknor's performance etc., the BCCI still refuse (mainly because they hope their players can still intimidate and pressure the umpires to give them favourable decisions).

Ok, the DRS is not 100% accurate but it does get rid of the howlers like what happened with David Warner not so long ago.

Doesn't work like that though surely? You can't just insist on a review?

^ Happy days

Better not show that to my old high school friend (called Chris). He'd have an orgasm over that pic. Always used to rave on about him at the Sydney club they both played for and how he could potentially represent England in the future due to his Portuguese passport.
