Slats: "George bailey quality player, just shows how difficult swing bowling is".
When will the commentators ever admit these guys just plain suck.

Australia's only batsmen is Clarke, Warner a distant second and even he only has a decent game every now and then, hence his shit average.

Malinga is unlucky that Bailey is that rubbish that he can't hit it..

If he could bat he would've nicked one by now..

Having a Michael Hussey come out now would make me feel a lot more comfortable.... just saying

Despite being 37, Mr Cricket's fitness levels are so high that he'd be able to run circles around nuffies like Bailey and Henriques.

As I've said in another thread, dropping Mr Cricket - who has been one of the best ODI batsmen over the past 12 months - has been undoubtedly the worst decision the current selectors have ever made during their tenure and one of the worst decisions ever made by Australian selectors in general. Fancy Inverarity et al. throwing out the "looking towards the future" line and then they recall a 35 year old wicketkeeper who, although maybe a better keeper than Wade, will definitely not be there by the time he's 37 during the 2015WC.

Who remembers the days when men played for Australia?

The good old days!!!

At least those two, although they were far from being the most naturally gifted cricketers, were full of grit and determination and understood what it meant to represent your country, unlike the current mob. 90% of the players in the current national squads across all three forms of the game (tests, ODIs, T20) would've never even been considered as a future representative player under their captaincies.

Well, if the Australian team treats the fans with disdain and continues to degenerate, at least we can treasure the memories from the "glory years"
