It just got me thinking that Steve Waugh's farewell test and his career savings innings (both at the SCG) the year before were 9 and 10 years ago respectively...wow, that feels just like yesterday. Can't believe times gone so quickly

These Good Charlotte f**kheads are now doing Vodafail ads just f**k off!!!

At least Ch9's coverage back in those days weren't saturated with all these blowhards, as well as James Brayshite and Slats commentating

Saw this on Cricinfo..

Keith Bennett: "It's not rotating the strike, it's "informed player running."

That day when he got the ton at the SCG was one of the great sporting days in Australia's sporting history, me and my Cousin sat up the Straddie Island Pub all day with complete strangers but by the time he got his ton we went from unknowns to drunken idiots jumping around and hugging each other. Good times

 Fantastic story. I guess that pretty much personifies what it felt like to be a fan of the Australian cricket team back then.

When you get older and are in a nursing home on your last legs and the Australian cricket team maybe ranked 7th or 8th in the world by then, you will instantly recall and cherish memories such as the one you just mentioned

I still can't believe this muppet captains an Australian first XI. Even if it is Turd20.
