Will this be Australia's worst ever series loss? Careers have to end after this,and at least 3 or 4 of them, including the reserve grade captain. Aussie cricket in the absolute doldrums, across all 3 formats.

Of the XI that are playing in this test,

- Labuschagne, Smith, Green, Cummins and Hazlewood would be the only certainties I'd lock in for the tour of South Africa.

- Wade and Paine definitely need to be axed for good if we lose here.

- Lyon, Starc, Harris and Warner are skating on thin ice.



Nevertheless, this is the chance of the selectors to do a thorough clean out of the dead wood after this series.
