India have been better in every aspect, but they have had to work hard

Absolutely. They are a genuinely quality side. Superb attack, and patient batsmen like Pujara have been the difference.
We'll obviously improve when Smith and Warner come back, but we will get annihilated (again) in England, and may not escape the group stage in the World Cup.
